Hello my loves.

Buying this old cottage homestead was my dream,,, maybe not in the state that the house was initially but who am I to judge my dreams. Shit never comes easy doesn’t it and I do not mind working for something I love.

This dream and the work that we are doing to build it up is probably going to slip my mind in old age so I decided to start a little youtube story section where I make videos about the process, share some projects about getting chickens, ducks, starting with growing our own food etc… Typical homestead stuff next to art.

I think when I am old and sitting on my patio drinking wine it would be lovely to start watching it all again. Maybe our kids will enjoy it all as well. Who knows.. But since I am doing it anyway you might as well join me for this ride.

Right in this moment we are finishing the facade outside AND we have started renovating our two downstairs bedrooms.

First bedroom to get ripped apart is going to be our daughters room when done. We are hoping for some beautiful log walls to soda wash and keep them out in the open. We will see how it goes and I am planning on doing my next video all about the bedroom renovations.
